We are Steve and Rose Moore.

Together, we form the ministry outreach of Lightning Road. We met at our local church over six years ago, and had one of those courtships hoped for from our youth. It was a Godly relationship, and one that was totally different from those we had experienced before (all bad!). As we grew together in faith and love, we married on January 25, 2003. We spent our time in helps ministries, finding that we were called to more… On February 3, 2005, we incorporated Lightning Road, Inc. as a 501c3 non-profit ministry. During that time, Steve has been licensed and ordained through Heritage of Faith Christian Center located in Crowley, Texas. HFCC is the Bible Training Center for Jerry Savelle Ministries International. We are planted locally at Tree of Life Church in New Braunfels, Texas under Pastor Don Duncan. Steve is also licensed through TOLC to facilitate entry into area jails and detention centers. Lightning Road is a part of the life group outreach at TOLC as well. We teach a six-session witnessing class as part of the Growth Track series for new members. The curriculum is available upon request, or you can come be a part of our church family! In addition, we “patch” with Chariots of Light Christian Bikers, an evangelical outreach of Jerry Savelle Ministries International. Dr. Savelle admits that COL is the biggest soul winning area of his ministry. We participate as members, partners, and are a parallel ministry to COL AND JSMI. Steve is the Area Director for the Ring of Champions Mentoring Initiative at the Hays County Juvenile Center in San Marcos, Texas. We mentor youth offenders, 10-17 years old, male and female, in a one-on-one encounter of finding faith and a life value system. You already said you partner, teach, help, and travel with other ministries, right? We birthed Lightning Road because God has called us specifically to the cracks and crevices of society. We go where other ministries may not go – to the secular rallies, the crack houses, whore houses, back alleys, and dark places many won’t go. Lightning Road is standing alone as a ministry, but shoulder to shoulder with those that will “SHOW UP” for JESUS in the desperate far reaches of the darkness. Check us out. See what we are made of. We love you unconditionally as we are taught by Jesus in God’s Word, and want you to know the freedom and the peace of making an eternal decision concerning this life.
